Who We Are

Michael Berman has been a lawyer for 26 years, previously qualified in Ontario and currently in British Columbia.

The practice is restricted to family law and is carried out in the City of Courtenay, British Columbia (mid way on Vancouver Island).  However, we can assist individuals throughout British Columbia.

Our office is composed of three staff:

• Michael Berman:  a graduate of Osgood Hall Law School and an undergraduate of the University of Toronto.  Mr. Berman has worked in general practice for 26 years in Ontario and British Columbia, 12 of those years have been almost exclusively in family law in British Columbia.  He has also worked for a year with the BC Law Reform Commission. 

• Kate Power:  A legal assistant who has recently joined the practice.

• Dayna Day:  A junior legal assistant who has been at the practice for nearly a year.
